Vintage25” French Pierrot Boudoir Doll Felt Clothes Painted Face Jester

This is a vintage Pierrot boudoir doll that is about 25”long with a nicely detailed painted paper mache face and cloth body. The costume is made of polished cotton withblack and white felt decorations. Hiscollar is made of black and white felt that ties in the back, the ends havebells. There are similar decorations at the end of the sleeves and legs. There are also two bells on thefront of his costume and at the ends of each shoe. The head circumference is 8 ½”.

The pointed shoes are made of stiff cloth and each has abell. He has stitched fingers with aseparate thumb. The clothes are sewn on.This vintage doll is in excellent condition, with no fading, and no paint losson the face. There is a tiny split in the seam on one foot, as seen in thepicture. He is clean with no odors,ready to be displayed.
