Hello. Up for consideration isa vintage/antique 3 chime steam whistle that is 5 inches in diameter, 18 inches in length and weighs about 31 pounds. I\'m not sure of the maker (could be a Crosby) as I can\'t find any markings on the whistle except along the 1/4 inch rim (see Photos 7 & 8) which are so faint I\'m not sure what it says. Any information would be greatly appreciated. The lever, which appears to not be original, is approximately 10 inches in length and the valve thread looks to be 1 5/8 inches in diameter. There is a dimple (see Photo 3 & 4) that is 1 1/2 inches in length and about 1/4 inch deep. Please look at the photos carefully as I\'ve tried to show the wonderful condition of thisitem that has been stored for many years and comes from a smoke and pet free home.
