Here comes, \"Peter Cottontail\"....Wonderful antique, very large, 30 in. tall, circa 1945-50,sewn-in cloth label: Made in US Zone-Germany, hard-stuffed, old fashioned style, German (Steiff-likeor other German maker) bunny rabbit toy wearing his original clothing, including blue woolen lederhosen shorts with red suspenders and original white cotton shirt with collar and long sleeves. Constructed with soft brown and cream shaded pile (mohair ?) and cotton body, he has brown glass eyes, a stitchedsoft floss nose andlining inside his long ears. Wonderful, OLD store display (studio size, advertising figure) for Easter or Springtime. He has been beautifullypreserved and shows little or no damage except for some moth holes to the back of his woolen lederhosen shorts. Very good condition with no other damages or repairs.He has no stains or tears, no odors or fading and is from a smoke free home. He\'ll make a great accessory for an antique doll collection as he loves the company of big dolls! (loc. D) Antique dolls, other bunnies and accessories shown are not included and available separately.
