Vintage Playskool Lacing Shoe Wooden People
I believe that these people are from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. They belonged with the Playskool Lacing Shoe - the one that was not on wheels but had lithos similar to the pull toy one.
This little family of four is currently without a shoe which may explain why the little fellow in red has such a worried look on his sweet freckled face. Perhaps you have a shoe for him and his family or just a special place in your collection for them!
Included in this family are:
- The Old Woman - (just over 2 1/4\" tall) - blue round base, blue wood body and wood head with painted face, white bonnet is plastic
- White Dog - (1 1/2\" tall) - rounded white one piece wood, painted face, his white body paint has some moderate rubbing from normal play. He is a harder to find piece from this set
- Smiling Orange Rectangle Boy - (just over 2\" tall) - Wood orange body, round wood head with painted face. Adorable smile. He\'s not worried about their current housing situation because he\'s excited about their next adventure.
- Worried/Frowning Red Triangle Boy - (just over 2\" tall) - Wood red body, round wood head with painted face. Worried little freckled face. He just doesn\'t realize it but as long as he\'s with his family, everything will be okay.
Condition:
- Vintage and previously owned, showing light play wear
- Colors are bright, face paint is good with no rubs
- Dog has a moderate amount of white base paint worn from little hands holding it over the years
- Over all great shape with no chips, cracks, gouges, stains or bites marks
