This is one really sweet vintage brass (I do believe) umbrella-shaped umbrella stand with unique scrolled four-footed base that I\'m pretty certain originated in Italy, but I don\'t know for sure. The only marking on it is the number \"454\" stamped into the bottom.This is a well-used item that\'s got a lot of life and charm left in it, and as such, it is not in pristine condition. There is corrosion/staining near the base on both the inside and outside, as well as a few dents and dings. But, overall, it\'s a beautiful piece.Measures 30\" tall and approximately 14\" in diameter; the base is roughly 7\" square. Weight is about 6 1/2 pounds.NOTE: the handle on this stand is NOT positively attached; it is loose (wobbly) and in need of repair. This item will be packed with the utmost care.
