Vintage 1950\'s/1960\'s heavy cast metal and bakelite TOY cap air gun pistol and caps. The 50\'s/60\'s pistol measures 6\" long (cocked) and 8\" long fired with the steel piston plunger extended out of the barrel. The grips are marked \"HS\" for Herbert Schmidt. The gun is marked on one side \"Made In W. Germany\". It is missing the knob that screws into the threaded piston on the back, otherwise it is in very good to excellent condition with some use wear. Push the spring loaded extended piston back into the barrel to set the trigger and fire the pistol as a single action revolver shot. The piston ejects out strongly and powerfully. I am not exactly sure how to load the caps or blanks. One 30\'s/40\'s partial pack (only 1 cap missing) of \"Mammoth Caps, Big 72, Doughboy, Copyrighted, Superb Brand, Made In U.S,A.\" with great red, white and blue colors and a a WWI doughboy soldier graphic. The header card has no torn seams and it is in excellent condition. There are 6 rows by 12 rows of caps with one single cap missing and 71 remaining.
