This sale is for a Large \"Worry Bird\" Pitcher by Edmund Ronaky for Jaru Pottery circa EARLY 1950\'s Edmund Ronaky produced these designs for a short time at the very beginning of Jaru Pottery\'s existence. They were very time consuming to produce, and soon only his shapes with simple glazes remained and his signature was taken off the pieces. This piece was purchased from a fine Hollywood estate sale several years ago. Its the largest pitcher in his \"Worry Bird\" line of pottery!This pitcher is approximately 21 inches in height, approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter at its base. Its in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or damage, practically no crazing on this piece. It is signed Ronaky 112 Cal and I have the Jaru label that was on the base and has since detatched.PLEASE NOTE: I have a 14 piece collection of Edmund Ronaky pottery, with some rarely seen pieces and designs that I will be saleing off, so check my other listings!!
