Vintage 6 rare Hans Hertwig dollhouse dolls n native costume 3¼” tall plasticine:

These adorable little dolls were made by theHans Hertwig company in Germany in theearly 1950s. They were made to be flexible but the plasticine used inproduction has hardened over the years. The dolls are now frozen in positionand could break if pressured to move limbs. Because of this, a great quantityhas not survived for collectors.

All six dolls are clean and in fairly goodcondition with the exception of the little twin with the crushed face….this wasanother result of the material used to produce these dolls. The clothes are wonderfully detailed for such a small chubby doll.
