Purchased in late 80\'s. Original (no bar code) price tag from Neimans is still stuck on outside of box ($495!). Not a lot for shoes today but super high end way back then!Stunning cherry red uppers. I do not know if they are embossed leather or croc or alligator skin. The soles are marked \"leather uppers, leather soles, Made in Italy\"
