.A little background for those who are not familiar -
America\'s best distance runners met in one of the most memorable road races any of them would ever run. The stellar field in the 1981 Cascade Run Off included Greg Meyer, Herb Lindsay, Bill Rodgers, Benji Durden and Jon Sinclair, and well-known foreigners like Anne Audain, Allison Roe and Lorraine Moller. Frank Shorter was there but opted not to compete because of the showdown over professionalism and amateurism for which that race–a historic revolt against hypocrisy in Olympic sports–will always be remembered.
Time to get rid of my old running shirts. This shirt is in excellent condition. A very rare find here. Check out my other shirts.
