Very rare, vintage (mid-1980s) Dooney & Bourke small Horseshoe Bag. This bag was produced before the company began using the red white and blue sewn-in cloth tags and serial numbers (pre-tag era). It does have the original DB fob hang tag with a black pebbled leather hanger. The duck emblem on the back is the older flat style with All Weather Leather TM symbol (pictured) . Later duck emblems have a circled R instead of TM. This is a very collectible bag!Solid brass \"stirrup\" closure. Adjustable padded strap with solid brass buckles. Two slip pockets on the back, one under the flap on front. Main compartment has interior zipper compartment and two interior slip pockets made of fabric and leather, an early style (pictured). Measures approximately 8\" wide x 7\" tall x 3\" deepStrap drop approximately 15\" - 18\" Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. This bag has a nice glow and radiates good care. The leather has a rich pebbled texture, produced by shrinking the hides. Both strap keepers are present. No stains, odors, or ink marks. Interior very clean.There are a few minor issues: faint water stains on bottom of bag. Dark spots on trim in a couple of places. Dark stain on strap (pictured).
