Vintage i think Russian or Armenian Kindjal Dagger, purchased from local WWII veterans estate, he served in Europe for 4+ years from Normandy to Germany and beyond. The dagger overall is approx. 20 inches long and a 14 inch long blade by about 1-3/4 inch wide. The handle looks to be made of a black horn and adorned with silver engraved and Niello inlaid designs. The blade has been rusted and shows some pitted areas, it is inlaid with a gold colored metal of a very-very fine design ( see pictures) inlaid is on one side of the blade only and the tip seems to be slightly bent.There is no sheath/scabbard with this dagger. There are no stamps or markings i can find.This dagger looks old and looks like the Imperial Russian era to me but i am no expert so please examine the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.If any collectors knows its origin or period it was made please advise and i will add it to the listing.Sold within USA only.
