This exceptionally well painted oil on canvas from the late 1960’s-early 1970’s measures 24” x 20” and is signed as shown lower right. Painted in rich tones with “soft-focus” thinning of pigments toward the outside of the subject, the painting depicts a proud Native American male in colorful garb.
