Here is one of the most difficult to find and delightful, vintage advertising dolls! It is pictured on page 298, \"Doll Values\", 15th edition-Foulke. This doll is 14\" tall and made of brown composition. He is the\"Clicquot Club Soda Eskimo\" boy wearing all his original two-piece, detailed \"fur\" fabric black and white snowsuit with attached matching hood and mittens and original black felt boots. He has nicely molded and painted curly black hair and Asian type, painted features with slighted slanted brown eyes with hi-lites as well as an open/closed mouth with two painted upper teeth. He has a swivel head and joints at his shoulders and hips.His name\"KOWEEKA\", means smile.

He is infair overallcondition withheavy crazing to his head and face, and some to his body. There is a small chip to the paint on his head. His clothes show their age and his boots do have tears in them, they could be sewn back up.

He wasmanufactured in Canada in 1939 by Reliable Toy Co., Toronto, Canada. This rare doll was an advertising item for the company, Clicquot Club Beverages, which was one of the largest national beverage companies that used the emblem of the Clicquot Club Eskimo Boy. It sold Ginger ale and several varieties of soda. After 80 years of operation, the company was bought by Canada Dry in 1965.
