MOVING SALE!!!! My Mother was a big time doll collector. She purchased and collected dolls from many of the experts that have written reference books. Some of her dolls have even been pictured in these books. I have periodically sold some of her collection, but this time I am moving and really don\'t want to pack them up yet again. Some of her dolls were mint, while others were \"projects.\" We bought what we could afford at the time, so they are a \"mixed bag.\" I have bisque, compo, and hard plastic that I will be listing. Lots of Patsy family, Ideal, Shirley Temple, and baby dolls. So that being said, here goes...
Excellent condition (not mint). ALL ORIGINAL. Early 1960\'s Madame Alexander Elise ballerina. First about the doll... 16 inches. Marked on her back and head, \"Alexander.\" Arms have a little paint wear in the sockets. Articulated knees and ankles are fully functional. No splits on thighs. Leg socket joints are a bit tight, but she is nicely strung. Has the hard vinyl head, a little darker than body; painted facial features are excellent. Blue eyes are clear, open and close with ease. All her lashes are intact. Best of all, she has her \"up\" hairdo!!! Honey blonde color, in fantastic condition. Has the original millinery flowers in her hair (a little faded, but intact). Has her original earrings. Wearing her TAGGED \"Elise Madame Alexander\" tutu in blush pink. All snaps and ribbons intact. Tutu has 3 layers of very fine tulle. A few rips and \"nibbles\" at the edges, but really hard to notice because the tulle is so full and so gathered. Tutu also has the original millinery flower accents, again a little faded, but intact. Has her pink stockings and rubber ballet slippers. Great addition to any Alexander collection!!!
