Previously owned is this early 1900\'s vintage 14 spoon rack. It appears as if this rack is made from a hard maple and made from extra thick maple boards, the fastening screws etc are indicative of a circa 1910 to 1930 period. The workmanship is excellent and all members are sturdy, nothing is loose or wobbly. The +/- dimensions of the rack are; 20\" high by 12\" wide by 4-1/2\" deep at the bottom tray. The rack weighs 4 lbs/14ozs and would be considered more substantial than the average. The finish and cosmetics are in excellent condition. The rack was constructed utilizing two matched pieces of stock for the rear panel with a slight space between the panels. This was not an uncommon practice for that time and is often seen in quality furniture constructed during that period and before.
