Details: VERY SELDOM SEEN. Delicate, renowned American Modernist. Silversmith Stuart Nye\'s handmade earrings and brooch from his classic Dogwood collection. A beautiful set in excellent condition and wonderfully executed with a glossy silver finish. Lovely to look at and to wear.

Stuart Nye: Stuart Nye began his handmade jewelry work in 1933 during the depression. He had no experience and bought second hand silversmithing tools with which to create his silver pieces. He added copper pieces in WWII during metal shortages and brass in the 70s when Sterling prices exploded. His jewelry is part of the American Modernist tradition and is always inspired by nature. His \"Dogwood\", \"Willow Leaf\", \"Calla Lily\" , \"Pine Cone\" and other less well known Collection pieces are coveted, collected and worn around the world. His NC studio employs mountain artisans with a strong heritage of craftsmanship. When NYE retired, he sold his studio to one of his high-end department buyers. Every piece is handmade in the USA.
