A mid century pitcher hand made by the Taxco, Mexico artist Salvador Teran. It is 7 1/2 inches tall with inlaid abalone tiles and twisted wire ring accents. All the abalone is in great condition. None missing or damaged. This is all hand wrought in brass with ribbed feet and inlaid abalone handle. Salvador Teran was a Spratling contemporary who made some very unique things. Very different from the traditional Taxco designs. He left William Spratling\'s Taller de Las Delicias in 1939 to work with his cousins at Los Castillo. Pitcher is stamped \"Taxco\" on the bottom.
