Vintage Anglo Indian Carved Rosewood/Teak Octagonal Folding Table-Superb Carving.

Measures a 21\"across diameter with a height of 21\"tall.

In great overall condition for age, has minor marks hear and there,no damage and is in totally original condition with a nice warm redish brown patina showing through.

This octagonal table stands very solid and true with minor movement..

Probably brought back from India around the 1940/50s,great detailed carving of vine leaves,flowers and foliage.

This folding table is quality made,even down to the wood dowls,beautifully carved,with a nice good weight of 5.44 kilos,indicating a hard wood of some kind,looking a lot like rosewood or teak.Will display superbly in any period or contemporary setting.Ideal for all manner of uses.

Totally original.Good heavy sturdy piece.All photos taken in daylight.

Stunning when displayed from all angles...Better with a good wax.
