Vintage zipper powder compact made by Lady Vanity from approx. 1950s. Designed by artist Annette Honeywell, there were a range of these compactsmade with different quirky designs on the front.

The front has colourful design of a carousel horse with a tiny circus performer on top. It is signed by the artist. The powder compact is a purse type made from metal which is covered in colourful and textured enamel finish.

They are hard to find in perfect condition, the mirror usually the first to suffer. Inside is a cream celluloid powder well with original powder puff and sifter. Zipper works well.

Condition is not perfect there will be areas of wear, see close up pics.

Measures 3 and 3/4 inch across.
