Vintage Antique 1800's Staffordshire Cow Creamer W/lid Blue Willow Pattern:
Beautiful antique Staffordshire cow creamer. It is molded to a green glazed base that has a flower & leaves in the center. Cobalt Blue Willow pattern transfer design on both sides and the lid. This creamer is in beautiful condition, no cracks or repairs. The only flaw I can find is a couple of tiny flea bites around the opening on top, under the lid. Remarkably, no damage to the horns, ears, etc. Ibelieve this cow dates to the 1800's. It measures 5 3/4" from base to top of horns. The base is 5 3/4" x 3 1/2". On the underside of base is the # 58. That is the only marking. I listed it as Staffordshire because in researching this item, it seems they are all Staffordshire. I don't know for sure what pottery made this. I do know that it is very old and not a reproduction. The area around the mouth is in a tan color matte glaze, there is a tiny bit of paint loss there.
