Vintage Antique-1930s 1940s-Depression Era-Pale Blue Cotton- Baby-Childs Romper :

I am offering this vintage, Depression Era, pale blue, baby romper. The cottonromper was obviously custom made and the seams are stitched by machine but the edges of the romper, the cute Goose wearing a hat and the pocket and upper edges of the romper are finished with dark blue, hand embroidered stitches. There are cute little pearl buttons and hand finished button holesthat close the crotch of the romper and fasten the suspender straps at the back of the romper. The romper was soaked and hand laundered and pressed and is clean and nice but not perfect. At the leg openings, the white machine stitching has come loose and disappeared in a couple of spots and there are about 4-5 very small brown spots scattered across the romper here and there, which are photographed. There is also one small fray in the fabric on the back of one of the suspenders and I am selling the romper \" as is\" and it will be shipped from a smoke free and pet free home. From side to side the romper measures 11.5 inches and from the top of the suspenders to the crotch measures 18 inches. International buyers are welcome!
