Bronze Lamp

approximately 9\" x 7 1/2\" x 16 1/2\" high to underside of socket

Offered is an exquisite bronze lamp which I believe was converted from an oil lamp. It is in very good condition despite a dent in the top and a break in the metal where one of the figures has been attached. It has been dusted, but not thoroughly cleaned - it has great patina, but also a few spatters of white paint. The cloth cord and bakelite plug are in poor condition with exposed, broken wires, and I will not attempt to test the status of the lamp\'s working condition. The harp and socket are slightly crooked.

As with any used lighting fixtures, we recommend an electrician\'s evaluation and replacement of electrical components if required before using. In this case, I must emphasize that that this lamp must not be used until the wiring is replaced.
