According to the most recent information available, this trombone was manufactured during the 1930s. It is in surprisingly good condition considering the fact that it is an eight-plus year old instrument. There is one dent in the tuning slide and a small indentation on the tube leading to the bell (see photos), neither of which affect the performance of this horn The brushed silver finish, while largely intact, does show some aging. The slide glides without hanging; I would rate it at seven out of ten for smoothness, and the sound of the horn is crisp and clear. The water key functions as designed and the trombone comes with what appears to be the original mouthpiece. There is no case, but the horn will be wrapped very securely for a safe shipment.
