This handmade and embroideredEarly Edwardian lady\'s tea apronfeatures a pin-on bib that\'s shaped by a row of the tiniest tucks. Both bib and hem have pretty hand embroidered flower decorations, and the entire white cotton lawn apron is edged with narrow white cotton lace. The apron is hand sewn.
This is the sort of apronworn by ladies at their teas in the early Downton era. The pretty \"show aprons\" were pinned on over their lavish silk dresses when they presided at the tea table.
The apron iscompletelyhome sewn and hand embroidered. Itsin very goodcondition with no problems and no storage or smoke odors. There is one tiny wear hole on the side of the skirt (see final photo) that could easily be mended.
Center top of bibto hem is 26\", measure across waist is 15\", sash waistline ties are 17 \" long. A great collectable apron, adorable to display, give, wear.... Great for re enactors.
