Here is for sale a nice Esterbrook9120 fountain pen infull workingcondition, serviced, cleaned with a full polish, this is a super quality penfar too good to sell as spares and repairs but not one I will fully restore as thesurface shows age related wear, but still is a nice working pen,estimatedmanufacture 1950’s/1960’s,a nice sized pen at 120mm long capped. Fulldetails below. I am not a professional photographer but try to show as muchdetail as possible.

THE WRITE:This is a nice smooth writing experience,with a really good delivering a lovely fine width, a very responsive firm goldplated nib some Esterbrook’sare scratchy but this one is smooth and will create a nice constant line, recommended to be a superas an everyday pen. It has been dip tested in ink not filled but the fillingsystem has been tested

All threads are perfect and cleaned

THE FILLINGSYSTEM: Lever filling pens fillby dipping the whole of the nib in the ink, on the barrel there is a lever, putyour finger tip at the end of the metal lever and it will lift, lift all theway expelling the air from the inner rubber tube inside the barrel, you shouldhear air bubble out in the ink, release gently and return the lever flush withthe barrel and hold for a few seconds, remove and wipe ink residue from thenib, the pen should now be filled with ink. This system is a nice simple systemto use and was one of the first self filling systems and was in use from thelate 1920’s, simple and an easy to fill pen
