Vintage Antique Folmer & Schwing Crown No. 2 Surveyor\'s Transit Tripod w/ Brass Fixtures Thissale is for aVintage Antique Folmer & Schwing Crown No. 2 Surveyor\'s Transit Tripod w/ Brass Fixtures. Measures anywhere from 30\'\' to 57\'\' (when legs fully extended) and anywherein-between. Believe the wood is oak, but unsure. Numerous brass fixtures, knobs, etc. Each of the three legs extends at two different locations and lock securely. Felt pad on top does show some wear, measures 6\'\' in diameter, and still has the turn key underneath to secure the transit. Item in excellent overall condition showing extremely minimal wear. Two of the central brass fixtures read FOLMER &SCHWING MFG. CO. NEW YORK CROWN NO 2. Two of the lower brass fixtures read PAT. JUNE 23, 1903. Could be used for a transit, old camera, or lamp base. Local pick-up in Kutztown is always available. Please see pictures for additional details. PLEASE READ ALL NOTES BELOW.
