Vintage Antique German Anno Gravity Sawtooth Wall Clock 1750 Parts Repair Description

This is a nice old German gravity saw toothwall clock. It was bought at an estate sale years ago. The clock was designed to be self winding, using gravity to power the clock, and as a wall hanging model. The clock does not appear to be functional, though I haven\'treally tried to get it to work. The face of the clock is stamped with the maker\'s name, date, numbers, and decorations, and is still visible. The backing is wood, painted, and textured. The edging is gilded, though doesn\'t appear to be metal, but rather wood painted and textured to look like brass. The clock is not currently working, but since most of the parts are present, it may be fixable, and otherwise, certainly good for parts.
