This listing is for a vintage Gold filled or Rolled gold plated base metal Pendant that is detailed with enamel.
This pendant has openings/holes on the edges, and when you look inside the openings you can see a bit of what appears to be a cotton material -see images.

I suspect this is a VINAIGRETTE Pendant - you can put a few drops of perfume on the cotton material inside this pendant, and when you wear this necklace, the perfume scent can escape through the holes -see images.
This type of pendant is wonderful for those who have skin that is sensitive to perfume.

This pendant does NOT OPEN -the cotton material inside is visible only through the small holes in the edges/sides of the pendant.

This item is hung on a gold filled chain/necklace (The chain appears as though it is not as old as the pendant.)

This necklace was recently purchased from an estate.

SPECIFICATIONS:

This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report.

Material: Gold filled or rolled gold plated base metal pendant, Enamel, Gold filled chain.

Signed: the pendant is not marked that I can find,
the chain is marked 1/20 14K (indicating it is gold filled)

Dimensions: this pendant measures about 13/16\" or so tall from the very top of the hanging loop on the top of the pendant to the bottom of the pendant.
This pendant is about 5/8\" or so wide.
(The main round form of this pendant is about 11/16\" or so in diameter at the very largest points.)

This pendant is hung on a fine Chain.
This chain is about 19 1/4\" or so long measuring flat end to end, and this chain is about 0.9mm or so wide.
*This is a VERY THIN/Fine, Delicate chain -please read the dimensions carefully.

Gemstones: No stones, this item is detailed with enamel

Monograms: None

Weight: This necklace weighs a total of about 3.4 grams

Condition:
This item is in vintage condition with some signs of age/wear and use.

The enamel has several scuffs, scratches/dings, fleabites, flakes and wear in some areas -see images.

The metal has several areas of wear to the gold layer -areas where the gold is worn away, exposing the base metal below -see images.

The metal on this item also has some dings, dimples, scratches/scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas. -as well as some patina, discoloration and tarnish -please see images.

The chain might not be as old as the pendant.

All in all, I would have to say that this item is in vintage condition with some signs of age/wear and use.
