This sale is for a great vintage, estate buy cotton hand crocheted bedspread ~ perfect forcrafters or the seamstress. This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate sale. This listing:

  • great vintage / antique estate buy bedspread
  • hand crocheted with cotton thread
  • thicker thread almost string thickness
  • is off white in color
  • has lots of yellowing due to age or storage ~ would not all show up in photos
  • may come out when laundered
  • does have a hole ~ see last photo about the size of a quarter or a bit larger ~ I am not sure if the threads have come loose here and it could be repaired or if it is a tear
  • it measures 88 inches by 100 inches
  • edges are zig zagged
  • is heavy! ~ 12 pounds
  • surely dates to the very early 1900s
  • perfect piece to use as is or a cutter in craft and sewing projects
  • straight from the sale ~ I have not laundered
  • no odors noted
