Beautiful! Beyond gorgeous Mandalian enamel mesh vintage deco style 1920\'s purse with black, beige and turquoise aqua blue. It is perfect with no loose rings or tears. The beige color has a pearlized or opalescent appearance - or called Lustro mesh. These purses were very popular in the 1920\'a and known as flapper purses. This purse is unusual with the the gorgeous colors and 8 aqua drops. This purse is unlined and many purses of this era were unlined. The clasp closes tightly and frame functions excellently. Frame is likely silver plated and has tiny flowers and leaf pattern. The purse measures 7.5 long by 4 inches wide. The design is the same on both sides. Carry chain is 6.5 inches. Missing enamel on one of the drops only - otherwise NO missing enamel paint on the body of this purse. Missing enamel is not unusual for this age purse. Whiting and Davis and Mandalian were the primary enamel mesh purses manufactured in the USA. Purse could be used for an evening event or display. Purse is from my antique/ vintage purse collection.
