This is a pair of U. S. militaryleather and canvas leggings / gaiters made in 1940 by Holland Racine Shoes. They are stamped with the military code M-8610. These items would be great for a collector. They do show their age and lots of wear. Some of the stitching is coming loose and the leather is torn in some spots. It looks like the end of one of the straps may have beentorn and glued together ( see photo ). They are about 5\" H. when buckled. Please look at all photos closely and ask any questions before offerding.
