WE ACQUIRED THIS ANTIQUE IN ITS CURRENT STATE WITH THE TAPE ALREADY ON IT SO THAT ISSUES SHOULD SPEAK FOR ITSELF.THE GUN WILL NOT FIRE BUT TRIES TO AND THE SPRING LOOKS TO BE FULLY INTACT BUT DRY WHICH IS NORMAL FOR THESE OLD TOY GUNS AS THEY ARE ALL ENTIRELY MADE OF STEEL. I TOOK NOTICE THAT ALL OF THESE OLD POP STYLE TOY GUNS HAVE A SMALL HOLE ON ONE SIDE WHICH IS MORE THAN LIKELY FOR LUBRICATION. I DONT KNOW FOR SURE BUT IT IS LIKELY THAT THIS TOY GUN JUST NEEDS SOME TYPE OF LUBRICATION. WE DO NOT ALTER ANY ANTIQUE FROM ITS CURRENT STATE AS THAT IS BEST LEFT UP TOT HE PRO\'S.THIS ONE DUE TO THE TAPE HOLDING IT TOGETHER IF THAT IS WHY THE TAPE IS ON THERE, IS PRICED BELOW WHAT THE OTHERS ARE LISTED FOR.
