I\'m moving back to England to finish my retirement. I\'ve been collecting Dollhouses, dolls, bears, toys and goodness knows what else for more than 60 years and unfortunately I can\'t take all my goodies with me. Therefore my treasures are up for sale.
Vintage - 45 years old.I made this reproduction Queen Ann doll back in 1970, when I realised I\'d never be able to afford the real thing and decided to make my own! She has a firmly stuffed cloth body, with lower arms, legs and head of papier mâché overlayed with chalk ware.She has leather booths on her strangely shaped feet, bloomers, petticoat, woolen underskirt, dress liner and is topped with a hand sewn dress using genuine Early Victorian metal work lace and is topped off with a bonnet. She is wearing two glass bead necklaces. Unfortunately one of her fingers on her \'spoon hands\' is broken, but I think it adds to her aged appearance.She stands 17\" tall and sits at 10 1/4\".
