Offered for sale is a Seneca Improved 5\" by 7\" View camera which was manufactured by the Seneca Camera Manufacturing Company about 120 years ago in Rochester, New York. I had a new bellows professionally installed about 40 years ago when the original one had worn out. The camera has hardly been used since then and the new bellows still appears to be light tight (see photos). The camera has not been thoroughly tested, but the iris (aperture adjustment) appears to work, as does the shutter when manual release is used. Cable release needs cleaning and possibly some work. The lens and the lens housing need a thorough cleaning and the whole camera should be cleaned. It is a nice camera and has been been a part of my camera collection for at least 55 years.
