This lovely little doll with very prominent multi-stroke eyebrows is an unknown momma doll. I have been unsuccessful in finding the maker or year of this particular doll. So for the sake of aging, I would guestimate her as a late 1920s to early 1930s doll, making her approximately 85 years old.She measures 17 inches tall and is unmarked. She is a should plate doll with composition head/shoulder, arms to just above her elbows and legs to just above her knees, with a cloth stuffed body. She has straight legs and “short” arms. She has a new replacement brown pigtail wig, very prominent multi-stroke auburn eyebrows and hand painted black eyelashes, large blue glass sleep rocker eyes that open and close, a button nose, rosy puffy cheeks, and painted open red lips with teeth showing. She also has a crier box, but I it does not work. The composition on her arms and legs is in good condition with only minor grazing; however, the side of her head/face (see pictures) definitely needs some work but is covered by her wig and her cloth body is stained from age, but is in fairly good condition, as well. . Her lovely little outfit includes a new cream doll dress with a sweetheart neckline on the mock pinafore top adorned with cream lace over the shoulder ruffles and skirt and a ribbon sash and ribbon bow at the waist, with matching bloomers, cream diamond tights, and cream shoe dress shoes that have cutouts in the toe and ribbon ties.
