Made from the hard to find yew wood, this long dresser would make a great addition to any bedroom or could function with a TV on it. With its shaped hardware and beautiful color, this piece will be a great addition to any home.

This vintage dresser comes from England where it was made sometime around the year 1960. We found it at an estate sale in England and because of its useful size and beautiful wood knew we had to bring it back with us. All nine drawers work easily and are adorned with antiqued brass swan neck pulls. You will see how the top and drawer fronts are nicely set off with an ebony black line inlay. At the bottom shaped bracket feet finish the dresser off nicely and help to elevate it some.
Yew wood is a native English wood that was first used to make the English long bow back in medieval times. It has a mellow color and wispy grain. Most yew wood contains knots which add interest and character to each piece of furniture made with this stunning material.

We have provided some close ups to help better illustrate the condition of this long vintage yew wood dresser. The right side has a few scratches. The finish on the top is very crazed and worn. This gives the top a very distressed look. The rest of the dresser exhibits moderate wear in the form of dings, marks, and finish wear here and there. For these cosmetic reasons we have rated the piece in fair condition. Functionally it works perfectly and is a very sturdy piece of furniture. It would look great in any bedroom and provides lots of storage!

A black line inlay is present on the top and drawer fronts.

The top has plenty of the famous yew wood character.

The bracket feet are strong and sturdy but have some moderate cosmetic wear.

Each drawer features these antiqued brass handles.

Nine drawers provide a huge amount of storage space!
