Up for sale is this breathtaking hand carved antique diamond & sapphire 18K yellow gold engagement ring. Pieces like this are the reason we collect! In the center is a super high quality G/H-VS1 .55ct Old European cut natural diamond. This diamond is completely clean, giving it absolutely stunning brilliance and firepower. Encircling the diamond are 17 French cut blue sapphires, which really give this ring its pop. This was made entirely by hand in the early 1900’s, straddling the years the Victorian age turned over to Art Deco. The shank is incredibly thick and durable, which is very difficult to find in a ring over 100 years old. A finely wrought filigree gallery gives this beauty its final touch. The double bezels make these stones ultra secure, which is why they are all original; another rarity in a piece this old.
