This is fora Vintage Apothecary Box that I have had in my collection for over 30years and it was an antique when I got it. To me it is beautiful and I really hate to let it go.

The box ismade of some kind of Red wood that is Absolutely Gorgeous.

There is adrawer on the bottom and the lid lifts up to show where the merchandise wascarried in bottles.

The box tophas a little split in the wood but it doesn\'t deter from the beauty of thisbox. I have never seen another one like this ever.

The hardwareis in good order. Two hooks on either side of the lid to hold it in place whiletraveling. There is a keyhole but no key of course. Also a littlehandle for the bottom drawer and the hinges and fit of the box are like newreally.

The insideof the box still shows the origin of the company Whitall Tatum Company NewYork, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Sydney N.S.W.

Again thewood is so pretty and the graining is so gorgeous, it is just a really lovelypiece.

10 3/4\" across 7 1/2\" deep and 7 1/2 high.
