That being said, the item is sold \"as is.\" See the photos for full details of the item and its condition. I have never plugged in the item and, thus, cannot confirm whether it works. It has been displayed in our kitchen as an accent piece for 30 years. My wife and I are new sellers and are just beginning to sort through our collectibles andselecting certain ones to sell.
