Vintage Artisan Miniature Signed Sterling Silver Double Handle Bowl 1970s/1980s.Beautiful miniature sterling silvertwo handled brandywine bowlfrom the Metropolitan Museum of Arts.Original was made bylate 17th century American silversmith Jacob Boelen of New Yorkand is inMMA permanent collection.Obadiah Fisher made the prototypes of the ten piece collection of miniature silver that retailed in MMA\'s store in the late 1970s early 1980s.This is written about in his biography, \"A Reference Guide To Miniature Makers Marks\".Height to the top of handle is 5/8 inch; the width from handle to handle 1 3/8 inches.Signed on bottom, \"STER MMA\" (see photo).The bowl is in good condition.
