The Ralph Patelow pianos are as good as gets for miniature musical pianos and this in particular is special because it is a representation of Emanuel Moor’s Pianoforte’.

The interiors are as impressive as the hand crafted exteriors and the interior under lid paintings. This one features a hand painted Romanesque scene featuring charming cherubs, God and Goddess and scribe, scene painting done by M. Schneider.

Please see the photographs and open as large as possible on your screens, the piano (forte’) “wires” are meticulous and the hand cut wood Keys are perfection.

The final photo is of the nearly 100 year old room box that is one of Stuart Albert Parvin’s room boxes that has housed this beautiful pianoforte since the mid 1980’s and will be part of our sales at the beginning of Fall 2018.

This charming miniature piece comes from an extensive estate curated over two generations beginning with a miniaturist of some notoriety, Stuart Albert Parvin, born in 1904, who was a minister as well as a highly gifted miniaturist who later created the “The House of Stuart” by which his miniature work was known.
