For sale is this vintage, August 3, 1981, issue of NEWSWEEK magazine titled \"ROYAL WEDDING\" featuring the July 29, 1981 royal wedding of Great Britain\'s Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer (Princess Diana).

Please note; while going through numerous storage boxes I discovered a cache of numerous 1960\'s, 1970\'s and early 1980\'s magazines. These magazines are specifically related to historical news events and/or pop cultural icons of the time. I will begin listing these magazines and will continue to list them until the last one sells. If you are interested in collecting vintage publications, please take a moment to look at the other magazines and publications I currently have listed and consider offerding on several items. Of course, I do combine shipping on multiple purchases. Newsweek magazine was a weekly magazine that reported on national and international political, financial and ideological issues, special events, critical incidents and a host of other news worthy stories.This magazine has a total of 80 numbered pages. In addition to the featured story covering Britain\'s \"Royal Wedding\", the magazine also features stories on such topics and personalities as the cease fire in Lebanon, CIA Director William Casey, George Hamilton, Lee Iacocca\'s Chrysler and the Pope\'s slow recovery from an assassination attempt on his life. This magazine is packed with extremely interesting facts and observations concerning historical and monumental events of the day. As with the other vintage magazines I\'m currently listing, I re-read this magazine while preparing this description and found the information even more interesting today, 33 years after, then I remember it being back in the day when I first read the magazine. Overall, this magazine remains in very good condition. As the magazine is 33 years old, it does show light to minor wear but does not have any tears, rips or missing pages. There are a few very tiny bent corners on a few pages but none that are dog eared. Both covers remain securely attached and the front cover photo clear and vivid. This is a very nice survivor of the day and will display nicely among anyone\'s vintage magazine and/or Princess Diana memorabilia collections.Please note; this magazine will be shipped via USPS priority mail. The magazine will be secured between two pieces of cardboard before being placed inside a padded envelope in an effort to protect it from being bent and/or damage while in transit.Please look at the photos closely as they accurately depict the magazine I describe and show exactly what you will receive if you win this sale.
