I believe this is skin is called Alligator Lizard.
Perfect small satchel style bag. In excellent condition. Clasp closes with a tight, firm snap. Brass frame and hardware in wonderful conditioin.
Interior is lined in faille fabric and has a metal backwall zipper and a slip pocket on the other side that was typically used for cosmetic mirror and comb.
Smallish size but interior is designed to hold to daily essentials. Would be a perfect evening bag as it is very elegant and sophisticated.
4 brass feet on bottom to protect.
8 inches wide, 5 inches tall, 3 inches deep
Excellent Vintage Condition. Inside is a little dusty but can be easily cleaned out. I do not attempt to clean or alter vintage bags as I am concerned I might do something to damage the integrity of the bag.
