You are offerding on a stunning B. David Parent / Mother\'s Crown brooch.This is a beautiful example of the costume jewelry of the era.It features multi-color Austrian crystal rhinestones with simulated pearls.The bottom section of the crown is adorned with aurora borealis baguettes.Research indicates the setting is rhodium plated.It is signed on the back as shown. It measures 2\" wide by 1-1/2\" tall.It has a roll or C clasp closure.This is in beautiful vintage condition, no missing stones or broken stones.
History of B David Jewelry
B David was a family owned jeweler from Cincinnati, Ohio.They were business for 47 years, closing it\'s doors in the 1990\'s.The company was particularly famous for the rainbow colored crystal Mother\'s Crown pins.They were typically given to new mothers and as no two were alike,a mother could have a collection of different crowns, one for each child.
