This listing is for a Vintage USED BEATTIE JET LIGHTER in it original BOX with paperwork and a smallcleaning tool etc.

There is also another Vintage Used Beattie Jet Lighter with this listing (it has more wear to the nickel plated layer etc).

perhaps onelighter can be used for \'parts\'? -

This lighter was sold as \'The flame you aim\' where you can point the flame to light cigars etc.

This item was recently purchased from an estate.

I am not expert in vintage lighters, please see images and ask anyquestions you have.

SPECIFICATIONS:

This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report.

Material: nickel plated base metal, box, paperwork,etc.

Signed: The box reads BEATTIE JET LIGHTER, each lighter is marked on the bottom with BEATTIE JET LIGHTER MADE IN USA with patent numbers etc.

Dimensions: Each lighter is about 2 3/16\" tall x 1 3/4\" wide at thelargest points.\'

Give or take slightly on dimensions.

Condition:

The box has several scratches/scuffs, tears, stains, imperfections and irregularities in some areas. -see images.

The instructions seem complete, though there are bends/folds on the paper.

The lighters are EMPTY, though both spark when tried (the flints were replaced with new Ronson flints).

The Metal appears to be silvertone over brass/base metal. there is wear to the silvertone layer -exposing the base metal below (one lighter has much more wear than the other one) -see images.

The metal has scratches/scuffs, dimples, dings, nicks, wear and imperfections in some areas. The metal has patina, tarnish and discoloration and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in some areas (if desired).

There is a small cleaning tool in a paper envelope in the box -see images. The cap to the cleaning tool is missing (you can see threads where the cap would have screwed onto the tool, and the cap is missing).
