Marked \"BeautyMate Germany\" and made in the US Zone 1945-1949. Complete manicure set including the tweezers! Wrapped in red material that may be leather but I am not sure although everything I have seen like this states it is red leather. The case does have some variation in coloring and the end caps look like it has been carried around in a purse, but the plastic handled instruments inside look brand new and unused.
Included in this sale is something I am not sure of what it is exactly, but it was stored with the manicure set for all these years. It kind of looks like a little flashlight because the end screws off and the other end has a small clear red domed piece of glass? It feels like it is made of aluminum but does have some heft to it. Weighs 7 grams. The barrel is hollow and is cranberry colored. If anyone knows what this is, then let me know! I think it is some sort of spy gadget...
