The Handle is Sterling Silver. The Blade is Stainless Steel.

This is a handsome piece of Birks Sterling flatware in one of their most expensive patterns.

Pistol Grip handle.

Beautiful Hand Engraved decoration.

Birks is the most famous jewelry and silver firm in Canada.

The cake slice measures about 9 1/2 inches (24 cm) in length.

The back of the handle is marked \"Birks\" and \"Sterling\" with Date Letter, etc. (see photos).
