VINTAGE BLENKO COWBOY HAT BOWL

Awesome vintage blown, clear glass BLENKO cowboy hat bowl measuring 15\" long, 13\" wide and 8\" tall. Featuring the original BLENKO label, hat is complete with a molded blown hatband, tall creased crown, slightly rolled rim, pinched sides and softly polished pontil. Designed as an ice bucket, wine bottle holder or chip server, these were sold in the 1980s through a variety of high end stores.

Complete in original SHARPER IMAGE box with the BLENKO mailing label, hat has never been used -- it is in pristine condition with only the most minute scuffing on the hat brim from contact with a table top for display. Box, as shown, has storage wear, rubbing, tears, softening, etc. - overall box is very worn -- but it protects the hat perfectly and still retains the original blown padding and even the cardboard fitter to hold the hat in place. There are three tiny yellowed plastic feet that were in the box which I will include - guessing to put on the bottom to protect from scratching to the glass should the hat be seated on a table for use as a bowl.

Just a striking piece of Blenko Art Glass - I\'ve heard this style referred to as the \"10-Gallon Hat\" or \"XXXL\", but I am not positive as it is unmarked. Wonderful addition to any cowboy collection or glass display!
