German Fingering with Key

This is vintage Baerenreiteralto / treble recorder.
It is made of wonderfuldark rosewood, hasgerman fingering
with key for F and isapprox.48 cm long.

This recorder was craftedin the 1930ies 1965.
The instrument has a elegant,, is robust in sound with good response in all registers.
It is not suitable for beginners, because you need exact breathing technique for the upper registers.

Despise its age the recorder is in excellentcondition, the labium, the thumb hole and theoriginal threads
are in 100% perfect condition,the pieces fit together beautifully, key and keypad are in good working order.

Only the varnish at the front of the mouth piece is a bit worn of,
the back of the mouth piece has nearly invisible signs of use
and a little piece of the decor ring at the foot joint is broken off (look at the picture).
No other signs of use, no flaws, scratchesor dentmarks.

The sound issweet,warm and mellow, as good as one expected from Baerenreiter.
The instrument reaches both high and low registers with equal ease. Pitched A = 440.

All recorders offered by me are checked and more than 2 octaves are playable.

It is freshly cleaned, been disinfected and been oiled inside with almond oil.
